Meet the Staff
Shawn K. Everson, PT, DPT, OCS, MTC
Dr. Shawn Everson has been practicing since 1985 when he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from St. Louis University. Over the years Shawn completed his Master of Health Science at Washington University in St. Louis and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Shawn has hundreds of hours invested in advanced training in orthopedic and manual physical therapy. He has certification in manual therapy and is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association.
As the healthcare market changed drastically in the '90s, Shawn found it difficult or impossible to provide the level of care many patients required within the growing limitations of managed care. Shawn decided that patients would be better served within a special private office. In 1996, Everson Orthopedic Physical Therapy Services was created! Over time it became evident the best arrangement would be having a managed care physical therapy company working side-by-side with Everson Orthopedic physical therapy services. This became reality in 2005 and the unique system has been working remarkably well ever since.
Beth Radinsky, MA, PT
Beth Radinsky has over 30 years of experience in a variety of physical therapy settings but with strong emphasis on outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. Beth earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from St. Louis University and a Master of Education from Maryville University. Beth’s exceptional postgraduate training and experience is an invaluable asset to our practice. Beth has been working with Everson Orthopedic Physical Therapy Services since 2003.
Josh Borgmeyer, PT, DPT, MTC
Dr. Josh Borgmeyer earned his Master of Physical Therapy from University of Missouri in 2002. Josh gained valuable experience working in a variety of physical therapy settings before deciding to focus on orthopedic manual physical therapy. Josh has since completed his manual therapy certification through the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. He has recently completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy with the University of St. Augustine as well. Josh is an innovative problem solver using manual therapy and exercise based approaches to examine and treat his patients. Josh’s skills complement the skills of the “old” physical therapists nicely!
Christi Krus, PT
Christi Krus graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1986. Christi has extensive experience working with numerous populations in a variety of physical therapy settings. Christi has wide-range of training and experience in orthopedic and manual physical therapy as well as vestibular rehabilitation and a strong background in neurological disorders. Christi's broad range of training and experience allows her to use a remarkably comprehensive approach to address clinical problems in physical therapy.
In Missouri, a professional who is permitted to assist physical therapists with patient care is known as a LICENSED PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT. Many facilities do not honor this, but we do. Our LPTA’s play a critical role in our ability to provide individualized care to every patient we see. We have two outstanding full-time licensed Physical Therapist Assistants:
Amelia Perez, LPTA
Amelia Perez graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Southwestern Illinois College and has been working at Everson Orthopedic/Joint Venture Rehabilitation since 2009.
Chelsey Brown, LPTA
Chelsey Brown is a graduate from Southeast Missouri State University with a degree in Health Management/Exercise Science. Chelsey then graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at St. Louis Community College, Meramec.
